How Long Should Your Natural Hair Be To Add Hair Extensions?

My colleagues and I will generally recommend to clients that their hair is at least 4 inches long. This will give us enough natural hair to play with so that the extensions are undetectable. You will find that some salons will add extensions to shorter hair and some prefer longer hair than 4 inches. But 4 inches will give you a rough idea on how long your natural hair should be to add extensions. I hope it helps you!

What Is A Skin Weft Hair Extension?

A skin weft is a hair extension method which has been around for a few years now. This extension method involves attaching a bulk weft, like clip on extension wefts, to the scalp as opposed to the hair. The hair extensions are attached to the scalp using thermal tape which has glue on it. If you buy online, you’ll often receive extra tape for removing and reattaching the extensions.
