I have put together a list of 7 Australian hair extension websites worth looking at. These websites are on the list for offering a premium hair extension product or service or for offering something a bit different than their competition. So, here is the list of websites worth looking at:
7 Hair Extension Websites Worth Checking Out
1. Hair Extension Resource:
Website: www.sexyalterego.com
Yes, that’s us. You didn’t think we’d offer a review of Australian hair extension websites without putting us at the top did you?! The Hair Extension Resource provides loads of interesting information on lots of different hair extension methods. But, then I guess you already knew that!
2. Salon Hair Extensions:
Website: www.salonhair.com.au
This company has been around since hair extensions first started getting popular (quite a few years ago now!). They have built up a solid reputation both with their own customers and also hairdressers for providing consistent, high quality hair extensions. They specialise in micro ring (easy loop) and also clip on extensions.
3. Great Lengths:
Website: www.greatlengths.com.au
Great Lengths are another supplier who have been around since the beginning of time. GL supply to hairdressers, rather that selling online. They use a “modular system” for adding their hair extensions and are well known for offering consistently good quality hair.
4. Hair Extensions International:
Website: www.hairextensionsinternational.com.au
HEI are a popular supplier to hairdressers around Australia. They also offer an online store to buy hair extensions. Their method uses resin to fuse the extension to the natural hair.
5. Twist n Twirl:
Website: www.twintntwirl.com.au
For those girls who are looking for braids, cornrows, dreads or just hair extensions, these guys offer a service in Melbourne. They did the Cornrows for Sean Paul a few years ago before he went on Rove Live.
6. Westend Hair:
Website: www.westendhair.com.au
WH offer quite a few different methods of hair extensions and seem to add extensions for a few well known celebrities. They don’t sell online, instead they offer their services in Melbourne.
7. Angry Canine Lovestick:
Website: www.angrycaninelovestick.com.au
For those that are tired of looking at the same repetitive glamour models on hair extension websites, this website is for you. You won’t find any stock photos here, what you will see is loads of pics of alternative girls who have added hair extensions, hair pieces and braids. Some of the pics are a bit scary and goth for my tastes but I’m sure it would appeal to some.
We’d love to hear from anyone that have good or bad comments about any of these websites.

I’m sorry, but the Angry Canine Lovestick pics are awful. I’ll take the hair extension websites with stock models any day!
I found Westend Hair way too expensive.
I have had Salon Hair Extensions micro ring extensions in for about a month. All good so far
