Hair Extension Care – Using X-Ten

A couple of weeks ago I posted an article on hair extension care products. This post was a quick one that just gave a few ingredients to avoid when you’re searching for shampoo, conditioner and leave-in conditioner products. It also recommended a few brands which are good for helping extend the life of your hair extensions.

A New Hair Extension Care Brand

To follow up on that post, I have recently come across a new product called x-ten specifically designed for hair extensions. Personally, I haven’t used the product; however, a client of mine who is a long-time user of extensions let me know about it. She’s tried all the major brands like Paul Mitchell but found x-ten really revitalised her extensions and prolonged the extension’s life.

Some of the products in the x-ten line include:

  • x-ten silky lite shampoo and conditioner
  • x-ten silky lite reconstructor – provides hair straightener protection!
  • x-ten silky lite shine enhancement
  • x-ten silky lite split ends polishing milk

In my previous post on hair care products, I noted that you should stay clear from sodium laureth sulphate. Well the x-ten range doesn’t include this nasty ingredient. This will really help you extend the life of your hair.

I’m not sure if the supplier of this brand ship worldwide but they have a “where to buy” section if you live in Australia. Otherwise, maybe use their contact page to enquire about shipping to other countries.
